There will be a meeting for ALL service representatives and clerks at the Union Hall, located at 405 50th on Thursday, 06-24-10 at 5:30pm.

We will be discussing several things that are affecting our reps. If you are a non-member & would like to join us you are welcome to fill out a union card prior to the meeting. We would love to have everyone as members.

AT&T Core Bargaining Begins

 “Prepare for the worst and hope for the best!”
The current AT&T Core contract ends at midnight, Saturday, April 4th and bargaining has begun.  Bargaining updates will be posted here as they become available.  You can also call the CWA6203 Bargaining Hotline at 806-766-7085.

The paperwork which enables you to be paid in the event of a strike is the DFR-1 and is to be completed as soon as possible.  If you have not filled out the DFR-1, get it from your Strike Captain.

The Strike Schedule is to be posted on all union bulletin boards by March 30, 2009 and here on this website.  A strike vote will be taken by March 19, 2009.   There will be daily and weekly actions in support of the Union.  Get them from your Strike Captain.

Special Days for February Meetings

The February Executive Board Meeting will be held January 29 at 6 pm due to officers’ out of town commitments.  The Membership Meeting will be held, February 10 at 7:30 pm.

Central Labor Council Labor Day Picnic

The Lubbock Central Labor Council’s Labor Day Picnic will be held at the Party House at Mackenzie Park, 4pm.

Arbitration Victory Celebration

Union members gathered at J&B Coffee to celebrate victory in its arbitration for one of its members. Photos are available here.

Contract Vote Extension to 6:30pm

Due to the Daylight Savings Time loss of an hour, you can cast your vote on contract acceptance at the union hall from 5:30 to 6:30 at the union hall.
