Posted: October 3, 2007 Filed under: News, Organizing Leave a comment »October 23 at 6:30 at the Holiday Inn at the Lubbock Civic Center, 888 Avenue Q, District Staff Representative Sylvia Ramos will conduct an orientation and training on the new CWA Steward’s Army and the difference it can make in our work life. She will also answer questions on the upcoming wireless contract bargaining. The event is for both wireline and wireless members.
Work nights? For those members who work evenings, there will be an additional training and update will be held at 9:00 am Wednesday, October 24 at the union hall.
This is a great opportunity to find out what’s happening with the union and what you can do to increase our power and success. Plan to attend and pass the word.
Membership Bargaining Survey

Your answers will be collated, counted and form the foundation for our bargaining as we enter negotiations for our next contract. Your answers should be returned by the first week of October.

Labor Day Offsets Monthly Meetings

The Executive Board will meet at 6:30 pm and the Membership meeting will begin at 7:30.
