T-Mobile Intends to Close Seven Call Centers
Posted: April 6, 2012 Filed under: News Leave a comment »Please add your voice to the outcry against T-Mobile’s decision to close seven call centers here in the United States, eliminating 3,300 jobs right here at home and shipping them to Asia and Central America.
You can make your voice heard at the CWA National Website. We encourage our members to participate, and ask your friends and family to do the same. There is time to save these jobs, but T-Mobile needs to hear from all of us!

Mobility Contract Ratifies

While we do not have access to any hard numbers at the time of this posting, district 6 is announcing that the 2012 Tentative Agreement has been ratified and will be our new contract.

Contract Explanations and Ratification Votes
Posted: March 20, 2012 Filed under: News Leave a comment »As previously mentioned, we will have contract explanation meetings at the Union Hall at 405 50th Street on Thursday, 3/22/2012. The meetings will be from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
The district will be holding a explanation conference call on Sunday, 3/25/2012 at 7:00 PM. It is not anticipated that there will be time allotted for questions on this call.
We are asking our local membership to submit all questions they have about this tentative agreement to the local as soon as possible, but no later than Wednesday, 3/28/2012.
We will hold our ratification votes at the Mobility Call Center on Thursday, 3/29/2012 and Friday, 3/30/2012. We are spreading the vote out over two days to make sure that everyone has a chance to vote.
