{"id":1582,"date":"2025-03-11T13:44:48","date_gmt":"2025-03-11T19:44:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cwa6203.org\/?p=1582"},"modified":"2025-03-11T13:44:48","modified_gmt":"2025-03-11T19:44:48","slug":"directv-tentative-agreement-highlights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cwa6203.org\/?p=1582","title":{"rendered":"DIRECTV TENTATIVE AGREEMENT HIGHLIGHTS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have compiled a summary of the DirecTV TA highlights.<\/p>\n<p>Substantial Wage Increase<\/p>\n<p>    Wage Increases<\/p>\n<p>o  April 27, 2025, 5.00%<br \/>\no   April 26, 2026, 3.00%+COLA<br \/>\no   April 25, 2027, 3.00%+COLA<br \/>\no   April 23, 2028, 3.00%+COLA<\/p>\n<p>    Health Care<\/p>\n<p>o   Retain 29% cost share<br \/>\no   Option 1 Individual Premium reduced by 23.38% from current $154 in 2025 to $118 in 2026<br \/>\no   Option 1 Family Premium reduced by 20.57% from current $418 in 2025 to $332 in 2026<br \/>\no   At the end of the contract in 2029 for Option 1 for Individual and Family Premiums the employees will be paying less than they are currently paying in 2025<br \/>\no   Added Option 3 \u2013 low premium, high deductible option<br \/>\no   Added Hearing Aid benefits<br \/>\no   Added maintenance drugs under the Rx program<\/p>\n<p>    Job Titles<\/p>\n<p>o   Premise Technicians changed to Service Technicians<br \/>\no   Added Administrative Support Assistant (WFH) and Office Coordinator (WFH) titles<\/p>\n<p>    Company will print 300 copies of the contract<br \/>\n    Changed the classification of Part Time employees to \u201c\u2026work more than 17 by no more than 32 hours per week\u2026\u201d<br \/>\n    Basis of Compensation<\/p>\n<p>o   Double time after 54 hours<br \/>\no   Assigned overtime will not be over 12 hours per week<br \/>\no   Added a defined Rest Period<\/p>\n<p>    Working Conditions<\/p>\n<p>o   Added Company must give a 30 day notice if they cancel home dispatch<\/p>\n<p>    Holidays<\/p>\n<p>o   Added MLK<\/p>\n<p>    Vacations<\/p>\n<p>o   Added Guaranteed Personal Time off. Employees can use either vacation or personal days<\/p>\n<p>    Job Vacancy<\/p>\n<p>o   Reduce Time in Title requirements to 24 months for all titles<\/p>\n<p>    Temporary Work in Higher Positions<\/p>\n<p>o   Increased Relief Differential to $12<\/p>\n<p>    Travel<\/p>\n<p>o   Increased per diem to $42<\/p>\n<p>    Force Adjustment<\/p>\n<p>o   Added Voluntary Resignation allowing employees to resign and receive a layoff allowance in order to alleviate the surplus<\/p>\n<p>    Subcontracting<\/p>\n<p>o   Added language to Subcontracting article stating that while the Company can hire contractors \u201c\u2026provided that it will not currently and directly cause layoffs of Regular Employees covered by this Agreement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>    Bulletin Boards<\/p>\n<p>o   Added language defining location and options for bulletin boards<\/p>\n<p>    No Strike No Lockout article<br \/>\n    Letters and MOA<\/p>\n<p>o   Added HSA eligibility letter for high deductibles plans, Options 2 and 3<br \/>\no   Added a Tuition Aid letter allowing employees to participate in the DirecTV Tuition Aid<br \/>\no   Added a Nanodegree letter allowing employees to be eligible for tuition reimbursement for approved nanodegree (i.e. nanodegree a certified online program that teaches specialized skills in a short amount of time, typically job relevant skills that help advance your careers.)<br \/>\no   Added a Work Apparel letter allowing Service Technicians to wear shorts<br \/>\no   Added Electronic Dues Authorization MOA and Dues Deductions and CWA-COPE Deductions MOA<br \/>\no   Added Scheduling MOA for consecutive days off<br \/>\no   Added 4&#215;10 MOA that provides guidelines for 4&#215;10 shifts<br \/>\no   Added $175 Work Boot Allowance MOA for Service Technicians and Warehouse Assistants starting in 2026<br \/>\no   Added the Working Relations Committee MOA<br \/>\no   Retained Neutrality and Card Check Recognition<br \/>\no   Added Successorship MOA<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have compiled a summary of the DirecTV TA highlights.
