MOBILITY BARGAINING SURVEYS & PROPOSALS

It is that time again to begin preparing for Mobility Contract to expire and bargaining to begin! The letter below, by Sarah Malone, is what was mailed out to you on 10-07-23, along with a bargaining survey and proposal. Please fill these documents out and mail them back to the Local as quickly as possible for your information to be considered. This is for MOBILITY ONLY

Dear Local 6203 Mobility Member,
The AT&T Mobility contract expires on February 23, 2024. Bargaining for the purple contract will begin soon!! We are gathering bargaining surveys and
bargaining proposals to submit to District 6. You will find both the survey and proposal sheet included, or you can submit the information online.
The survey asks you to rank the importance of each of the bargaining priorities and select in any action you are willing to participate in.
The bargaining proposal is used to propose any changes to the contract that you would like to be submitted to the bargaining committee. Any bargaining
proposal submitted by our local will be voted on by our membership at the monthly meeting on November 7, 2023.
We need the bargaining surveys back as soon as possible by no later than October 31, 2023. You may return your survey to any steward or mail them to:

Also, it is that time again! We will be taking nominations for Local Officers, Executive Board Officers and Chief Stewards as mentioned in the previous post. As of September 14, 2023 nominations will be taken, by any member in good standing at any time prior to October 3, 2023 at 5:00pm. Nominations can be given by phone, text or in person.

During the membership meeting on October 3, 2023 nominations will also be taken from the floor.

Nominations will be accepted up to 5:00pm by phone(call or text) before the monthly Executive Board meeting of CWA Local 6203 on:

The Election Committee will accept phone nominations prior to the meeting. Any member in good standing may nominate, provided the nominee is a member in good standing, attend at least six (6) of the past twelve (12) membership meetings(Chief Stewards not included) and agrees to be a nominee. **(Since there is not 1 eligible person for the position of Mobility Vice President and the 3 Mobility At-Large Executive Board positions the meeting requirement will be waived this go round) For a list of responsibilities for these positions see the local by-laws. A copy can be provided.

Nominations for the offices of President and Secretary-Treasurer shall also constitute a nomination of the same person as a delegate to all CWA Conventions/Conferences held during the three year term. The AT&T Mobility Vice President and AT&T Core Vice President shall serve alternately as delegates/alternates as needed.
