CWA Bargaining Committee is reviewing and developing strategies over all the remaining items that are still on the bargaining table. AT&T presented additional options of the medical plan which only shows that they shifted costs from one part of the plan to another.
District 6 is fully engaged in Mobilization to continue in reaching a FAIR and Just contract for ALL of our MEMBERS. We have hand billed agent/vendor stores and will continue to do so. Also, full-page newspaper ads were purchased in major cities in District 6 in regards to AT&T’s 6.2 billion dollar earnings for the first 6 months of 2009. Mobilization continues next week with flyers and rallying AGAINST AT&T’s Foreign Outsourcing.
All officers are asked, as a precaution, to update their Local’s STRIKE schedules.

Also, Local Presidents from District 6 were told to ask their membership how they felt about District 4’s tentative agreement & to provide the census to Andy Milburn. Andy stated he already knew how the leadership of the Locals felt but wanted to know about the membership. The majority of our Local 6203 voted that they would not agree to or accept what is in District 4’s TA.
