Our own Mary Garcia recently attended a training for organizing leaders from area locals. Mary came back afire with ideas and energy. We have already seen the results in the Wireless Union Day and Stewards Lunch programs. That’s Mary in the back left with the red circle.

Posted: June 27, 2007 Filed under: News Leave a comment »Tuesday, July 3 the CWA stewards at the wireless call center will hold the first “Lunch with a Steward” in the cafeteria lunchroom. From 11:30 – 4:30 stewards will be available over their lunch hour to answer questions, provide information and demonstrate the importance of union membership.

Steward Training

District six representative and trainer Sylvia Ramos conducted steward training for ten stewards from AT&T and Cingular on May 4th and 5th. The two day training covered various aspects of steward knowledge and responsibilities to better prepare them for their duties.
