{"id":65,"date":"2008-01-31T09:54:58","date_gmt":"2008-01-31T15:54:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cwa6203.org\/?p=65"},"modified":"2008-01-31T09:57:47","modified_gmt":"2008-01-31T15:57:47","slug":"first-bargaining-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/cwa6203.org\/?p=65","title":{"rendered":"First Bargaining Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>From the District Six Website<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\">Today, the <st1:place>Union<\/st1:place> met with the Company to kickoff negotiations with AT&amp;T Mobility.<span>  <\/span>Bargaining Chair Richard Kneupper, Assistant to the District 6 Vice-President gave the opening statement for the <st1:place>Union<\/st1:place>.<span>  <\/span>Richard cited the record profits for AT&amp;T stating that the company is, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153doing well, very well, and the time has come to share the success with our members.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d He said, that churn is a major concern for the Company and the <st1:place>Union<\/st1:place> and good wages, good benefits and good working conditions are all important components to a good contract.<span>  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\">Your bargaining committee, which consists of Richard Kneupper, Mike Neumann, Jim Murray, Eva Sustaita and John Richie presented the Company with a package of bargaining proposals and discussed them with the Company.<span>  <\/span>Your bargaining committee has been made aware of the mobilization and support we are receiving.<span>  <\/span>This is the very thing that will help your bargaining committee bring in a good and fair contract.<span>  <\/span>KEEP IT UP!!!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><em> (Mobility bargaining news will be posted here.
