District 6 Working Without a Contract

CWA Bargaining Committee returned to the table on Friday, June 26th, presenting AT&T with additional information on mistreatment of Premise Technicians by management & that this type of mismanagement was unacceptable.

On Saturday, June 27th, bargaining continued with discussions centered on the Service Representative Task Force Agreement & the need to keep the agreement intact.

On Monday, June 29th, negotiations centered on the Strategic Alliance MOA, the roles of the Training Advisory Board & funding to promote additional training opportunities & the Benefit Committee.

The talk show on ClearFox 950AM with retiree, Linda DeLeon & guest speaker, Joy Fabry-Core V.P. on June 19th had a great response & the show was streamed video. Follow up talks will be scheduled to keep people & the public aware of our negotiations & contract.

Also, we have a scheduled slot to be on a radio talk show a week from Saturday. Retiree, Linda DeLeon has a 1 hour segment on FOX TALK 950AM CLEARVIEW RADIO on Saturday mornings from 8:00 to 9:00am. CWA Local 6203 has been invited to join her. For public awareness we will be discussing contract negotiations & bargaining in our efforts to get a fair contract.
